JR Farms Extends Continental Expansion to Benin Republic

Within the context of our linear expansion through the coast of West Africa, we are pleased to announce our establishment and entry into the Benin Republic market. Registered as “JR Farms Benin”, with “JR Farms” as trading name, and a share capital deposit of 5,000,000 CFA (Five Million CFA) under family ownership. Within the framework of the five cardinal goals of JR Farms, which have remained the operational pillars of JR Farms, in Benin:
1. Having secured an importer's license/card in Benin Republic, we shall import our roasted coffee beans and ground coffee into the Benin market with our existing French label and distribute in a B2B model.
2. Having declared a set of bakery and coffee equipment to the investment commission of Benin, set up a commercial bakery (managed by JR Cakes) bundled with the JR Coffee shop model to serve the fast-growing community of coffee and coffee staple lovers in Benin, promote friendship, professional cooperation, and love through our ecosystem, beginning with Cotonou, to other cities.
3. Set up a commercial scale agro-processing factory in a sub-sector to be announced in the near future due to an ongoing market study with local partners. While serving the Benin market, the factory will serve regional export markets through land borders.
We recognize the support of the technical support Netherlands Africa Business Council/Dutch Embassy Cotonou, and APEIX Benin in our installation in Benin Republic. Identical to our existing operations within the African continent, our operations in Benin will be characterized by job creation, value addition, and capacity building, among others.
